Our commitment

IF Blueprint wants this website and the guide it sells to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or reduced-motion settings.

What we have done

• Every interactive control on the site is reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, and shows a visible focus outline.
• The site respects your operating system's reduce motion preference. If you have it switched on, animations are disabled rather than merely shortened.
• Text and background colours are chosen to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast for body text.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
• The frequently asked questions use native expandable elements, so they work correctly with screen readers and continue to work if JavaScript fails to load.
• Headings follow a logical order so the page can be navigated by heading structure.

The guide itself

The Blueprint is delivered as a standard PDF. It can be opened in any PDF reader, zoomed, and read on a phone, tablet or computer. Please note that we cannot currently guarantee the PDF is fully tagged for screen-reader navigation. If you use assistive technology and need the content in a different format, email us and we will do what we reasonably can to help.

Known limitations

We are a very small operation and this site has not yet been through a formal third-party accessibility audit. We would rather say that plainly than imply a level of certification we do not have.
